Azure SQL Database provides geo-replication for disaster recovery and high availability. Geo-replication links connect primary and secondary databases across Azure regions.

Use metrics from Azure SQL Server to:

- Monitor the state of geo-replication links between primary and secondary databases.
- Track seeding completion percentage for replication links.
- Detect suspended or pending replication states.

## Prerequisites

- Integration with Microsoft Azure, as detailed in **[Azure Metrics](https://coralogix.com/docs/integrations/azure/azure-metrics/index.md)**.
